Why is it so important to "cover" the license plate

 

People can make copies of your license plates and make their own plates and your car could be "used" in the commission of a crime. Im going through criminal justice and I asked my professor about this.

it's not really vaild unless they too have the same exact vehicle with the same exact VIN #. The DMV and police can run a check on that and if it comes up something totally different it's not valid. So basically, what you're telling us is that, WE ALL should do that, and we all should cover our license plates while driving, because people(criminals) driving about can take our plate numbers and make the same thing. No, it's not really valid and your Criminal Justice teacher is a retard. How do I know, cuz I was a criminal justice major too. It's not valid and would not work in the court of law
