Default tire making sound???need help

here the story...
I was driving home from school yesterday and somehow ran over a nail without knowing it until I get home. But When I was driving I feel the tired was out of air and the car was leaning to the right so I drove home and look at the tired unfortunately the tired is flat thx to the nail...After that I put a spare tire on...this is my first time driving with a spare...so don't flame at me if I ask some stupid question...I was driving and the spare tired kept on making squeaky noise...and I realize my MPH clock is not accurate...Anyone know what might happen ...it this common problem with the spare tired....thx for helping..

pump up the spare to the correct PSI. Plug up your old tire, put it back on

check your spare, most people just kinda leave thespare tire in thier car till they need it, but you need to keep the spare with alot of air, so over time it leaks out slowly, i think most spares needs 50 pounds?
