Default Automatic trans question

I am starting to mod my girlfriends 01 2 door ex. She cant drive a manual so the swap is out of the question. I was wondering if thier was any mods that can be done to the trans. I was trying to make it shift a little better. I have already done a CAI and a header.
Thanks ahead.

you can try the Lvl10 trans kit. but that is really expensive. or do a complete rebuilt n a trans oil cooler with good ATF. that would help make it shift harder and no slipping. you can even try boosting. Dezod kit makes 150whp at 8psi. the auto tranny should hold. i've seen people using that kit for over 2 years in their auto civic without any prob.

dezods FIRST kit was making 164whp & 142wtq on 5 PSI. thats FIVE psi. and again, that was his FIRST kit. his new manifold, intercooler, and new head hes testing should bump that up by ALOT. im talking 20-30whp.

^ yep, like they all said.. the best thing you can do for your auto transmission without spending a load of cash is just make sure you maintain it properly with regular transmission oil drain and fills.

I figured i was takeing a stab in the dark everything i ever read is their is no trans upgrade for these cars. I was just hopeing it was like my regal where you just buy an $80 shift kit, or change it throught the pcm and it shifts perfectly. Thank you for all the help.
