I just got a 06 LX and I'm looking for what I can do to get more performance out of my car. Any suggestions? (Besides selling the LX and buying a Si) Webistes that I should check out?

I was was looking at Superchargers at Comptech but it says that they are only for the Si.(Besides selling the LX and buying a Si)

Aftermarket parts for the FG1 are VERY scarce right now. It will awhile 'til they come out with TCs and SCs for your car, the R18. You can always add CAI, exhaust, and header.

 

all i can think of so far is probably an Injen intake, and an exhaust from magnaflow. should give you a little more pull. thats all i can think of right now.

i never seen a header for this car though..

 

i have the megan racing downpipe ill sell you for $105 new....there $130 on ebay plus shipping.

Yeah, they are out there but custom made. You won't see any for retail yet.

 

Technically, you cannot buy a header for these cars. Like projectprelude said, there are downpipes available.

But the integral head/manifold design should be decent for boosting. I'd like to see on somewhere.

The guy that has me do his work on his GF's car, the R18 seems pretty stout for a 1.8 4 banger.

Just waiting for some parts to come commercially available.

 

There are a couple shops/companies that are working on turbo kits for the R18. Patience will be of great value grasshopper.

 

I think darn companys are having a hard time making one for the R18... where are we gonna mount the TC?? Porbb infront of the car huh?? LOL I hate my engine bay..

by the way, you guys think that that ratio is about nice for boosting?? right in the smak middle...
