hi

my friend have a 96 accord 2dr he want change a trany auto to manual

but what should doing with the ecu?

 

homie theres alot more work than the ecu... first off he should do the 5 speed swap, tranny, clutch/flywheel, pedals, shift cables, shifter.. manual ecu.. fun stuff.. its not really that hard.. and i dont' know what 5th gens do for a transmission mount and i think you have to cut a hole for the clutch master clyinder but i'm not sure.

 

i know all that stuff but im asking about the ecu? what should change in it?

 

well there is like three wires that you swap also to need the manual ecu i did not do that so i can still use my auto ecu

 

use ur auto ecu with manual tranny?
