Default b16 swap alternator clearnace issues

Swapping a b16a into an 88 hf. I tried beating the hell out of the side of the engine bay to get it to fit, no dice. Then I tried cutting a hole in the side, but it still won't clear on the bottom, and I can't cut any lower because that's where the rear crossmember is bolted into. I do have an AEM alternator pulley, but it didn't look like it would be too much of a problem. Any ideas?

cheapy ebay one . I suppose it's possible that the driver's side mount is too short, pulling the motor closer to that side. I pulled the motor out of an 89 Si, the driver's side mount was bad so I bought an ebay mount kit. but I didn't discern any noticeable difference from the old mount when I replaced it, but I guess there could be one.

Or run a smaller belt. I run a belt so small that you can barely get it on, but when used with a HASport mount kit, I didn't even have to touch the car with a sledge. I doubt this will be possible with an AEM alt pulley, they are a decent amount bigger.

I could run a smaller belt, but that wouldn't help clear the pulley itself. Also, I already cut a hole in the sidewall, and I don't know if I can beat it anymore beacuse I'm to the pint where the rear crossmember bolts to the frame.
