bottom end rebuid what to lube with???

Default bottom end rebuid what to lube with???

I'm rebuiding my bottom end of a GSR, what lubricants do I need to re assemble it, reg. engine oil or what I heard it wasn't good cause it could mess w/ you clearances?? please help!!!

You aren't supposed to use any lube at all when you are building it and measuring clearances.

But when everything is spec'd out and ready for final assembly, you need to coat EVERYTHING with engine assembly lube. Not regular oil. Assembly lube is very thick and sticky and will provide vital lubrication during intial engine startup.
