1994 Honda Civic Ex Coupe in MA/RI [New Price: $1800 FIRM]

The car is 100% stock, which I see as a good thing. This car is the equivalent to a Canadian Civic Si although the USA got it re badged as an EX instead (the car manual that came with the car even calls it an Ex/Si. It has two previous owners besides me but they were brother and sister's in their 20's, so it wasn't beat on by a teenager. It does have 155k miles on it but it will run forever. The engine was maintained at all times with synthetic oil and changed every 2500 miles. It idle's perfectly and revs right to it's 7200 redline with NO problems. There are no altezza tailights, or a gaudy body kit. I had originally planned to fit some Omnipoint coilovers on the car in place of the stock struts/shocks, and fit the car with an Integra Type R rear sway bar to vastly improve handling.
It also features a 6 speaker stock audio system with two tweeters. Although I did replace the stock tape player with an OEM 98' Integra Type R cd player.
The interior is very clean and has power windows/locks,a power sunroof and driver/passenger airbags. The heat blows hot and the AC blows extremely cold.
The engine is the D16Z6 engine which is a SOHC 1.6 liter VTEC engine which was the best engine you could get in a 94 Civic. It makes good power in the rev range and will still net you 35mpg on the highway. The clutch is in very good condition and the gearbox is very tight.
The car is white in color and the paint is in good condition. The clearcoat isn't peeling however there is some typical Honda rust on the rear fenders. Also the left front corner light is cracked and needs to be replaced. Those are the ONLY two things wrong with the car. The front 02 sensor does need to be replaced (check engine light is on and it is throwing an 02 sensor code) but I can fix the sensor before the sale or knock off $50 beforehand.
This car is ideal for someone who is looking for something to commute in OR modify accordingly. I strongly urge people NOT to rice out their car with terrible body kits and huge wings but what you do is your own business. This car would be a great candidate to run a small turbo kit on and run 8-10psi on the stock engine. That would yield over 200whp and you'd run with stock Evo's and Sti's for $3000 total including the price of the car.
I currently only have one picture of it but will take more and update this in a day or so once the weather improves and this storm leaves.
Please send all email's to the above address (top of the page). The car can be seen any time after 6/7pm on weekdays and any time on weekends. I am pretty firm on $2200 but will accept reasonable offers. I have the title in hand and it is clean.
It is priced well below book value because I have to sell relatively soon BUT I will not sell it cheap so do not send me lowball offers, your emails will be ignored.
