Default Remove Power steering

A friend of mine is going turbo, was wondering what most do to rid a 97ex of power steering? Some people remove everything and just add a loop of hose on the rack. Do most guys run an older model rack?

any suggestion greatly appreciated.

Don't know about the power steering, but Vtec runs a higher compression ratio and thus making it harder to get the boost right.

The non vtec head is optimal for boost in my opinon. unpluging the vtec on the vtec head won't bring the compression ratios down. I would suggest asking around and seeing what success other people have had with different set ups.

Not true. The compression is fine for boost. I run 10:1 C/R for boost.
