95 hatch with a 97 b16b.. 255lph fuel pump... its building up pressure to 17 psi of fuel and wont build any higher and it wont hold it either it releases the pressure within a minute.. but its not leaking anywhere... and 1/4 tank of gas in it... some one help me out quick tryin to get to the track...

 

is the fuel pump brand new? might be a faulty pump. did you replace the fuel filter?

 

fuel pump is brand new... and no i didnt replace the filter yet... just tryin to figure out if it could be anything else but that...

 

me personally, i have had a walbro come to me brand new and it was a bad pump. another buddy of mine had the same thing. im not saying you have the same problem as we did but its just an idea.

 

i mean the pumps defenetly firing and pumpin fuel but it just isnt enough like a brand new pump would.. it might be the case..

 

he's right it happened to me also bad new fuel pump.sucks when you just did the swap to find out that was it (it happened to me)
