Alright I have a jdm h22 with i/h/e and p13. I've gone through all the h22 hesitation/bogging threads cuz that's what my motor is doing for the most part. When i got the swap done the shop that did it gave me a p28 cuz the iab box was broken so they just wired it for single stage vtec. They also told me the program burned on the chip they gave me would make it run better than the p13. (Which from everything i've learned since then, doesn't make since). They also didn't wire up a resistor box for the injectors(which i did have) they said it would work fine without it. And the reason why it does is because they took out my h22 injectors and put in b series ones. So when everything was said and done i took out and got on it and it felt slower than my b16. So i put in h22 injectors and put the p13 that came with the motor and now it bogs and hesitates like crazy unless i floor it than vtec kicks in and wham it pulls. So my friend who is good with cars in general (not swaps) messes with distributor timing and retards it all the way.

 

And it still hesitates but not nearly as bad and is still way slower than my friend's usdm h22 with less mods than mine. So i put in a different p13 and no hesitation, pulls harder than the p28 but no vtec at all. So my question is do you guys think hondata will fix it(tuned obviously) and that's not the only reason i want to get hondata, I plan on gettin nitrous and cams so i want to be able to tune it with hondata. So p28: no hesitation, vtec works but slower than my b16 was. current jdm p13: hesitation,bogging, but hard vtec pull. different jdm p13: no hesitation, pulls harder but no vtec at all..... What the hell could be making this happen?? Sorry i know this was really long but i wanted to make sure and explain all the details of everything I've done. And thanks so much in advance.

 

i can get you fixed up here then if you want. don't be driving your car the way it is. i got everything you need to get your car running and i'll walk you through it then. pm me or whatnot. also i don't like the sound of that shop at all. i wouldn't go back there anymore.
