Default Newbie.

Im purchasing a 02 sliver s2k today wish me luck. should be able to post pics later tonight. just wanted to gloate. Is there anyhting special about the 02 that i need to look out for. I know about the recall on the coil/spark plugs fouling out and need to be checked by the dealer.

The recall was for the 00-01 and 1/2 of 02. Basically, all they do is tighten the plugs from 13 lb. of tq. to 18 lbs. and change the spec sticker in your owner's manual.

They didn't replace mine. The problem wasn't the spark plugs, it was how much they were torqued in. The factory spec wasn't high enough.

hope you didnt buy the s2000 to drift in but besides that, have fun with 9000rpm.
