Default Dealer Causes Suspension Problem and now can't fix it!!

Here’s my issue in a nut shell – I have a 2002 completely unmodified S2000 with 45K miles that I use as my daily driver. I don’t race or autocross the car, I just love driving it.

After my local dealer lubricated the rear CV joints and spindle, my suspension has not been the same. Drive it like a Accord and you probably wouldn’t notice much wrong with the car. But drive it even just slightly harder, and the following issues are just blaring:
* Accelerating on a slight curve will cause the rear of the car to shift or move out significantly during gear changes. (Or basically just letting up on the gas pedal.)
* Bumps will hit harder on the rear wheels than on the front (bump, BANG).
* On tight corners, the rear of the car breaks loose very easily. It almost seems to skip over after the initial turn in – its not a smooth transition at all.
* The car also seems to squat, dive and lean slightly more than before.

I’ve taken it back to the dealer who originally did the work twice and they found nothing wrong with the car or the suspension. In fact they didn’t even acknowledge that there was an issue at all. They did an alignment which helped slightly, but not much. After much arguing, I’ve just given up with them. I’ve taken it to a second dealership now. They at least acknowledged that there is a suspension problem, checked everything but only suggested that I get new tires and another alignment. I got the new tires, but the probably still exists. Both dealerships have told me that they completely checked the suspension and everything is tight, nothing is worn or loose and the car should be fine.

I’m completely frustrated now. One dealership caused the problem and two dealerships can’t fix it. I’m hoping someone here can help me. Or even suggest a mechanic in the North/Central New Jersey area who actually knows how to work on S2000’s. Your help would be very much appreciated!

Thank you.

Maybe it was broke before, and the dealer fixed it. The differnece you may feel might be just the way it was suppose to handle?

that doesn't make any sense,

the only thing i can think of is a loose hub, worn bearings, alignment issue, or a broken endlink, a blown shock will do someof the things you describe.

has your car ever been in an accident?

You're right - it doesn't really make any sense. The car was never in an accident and it handled perfectly before I brought it to the dealer. The reason why I brought it there in the first place was because I was hearing some 'chatter' from the rear differential when starting in first gear or when going in reverse. I brought it in for them to check it out and they said the rear CV joint and spindle needed lubrication. They did say they had removed the rear axles, and I'm not sure if that was necessary for doing the work they did. I honestly thought that maybe one of their employees took it out for a joy ride and hit a major pothole. The alignment was way out when I had that done - and it wasn't an issue before taking it in. The blown shock could be the issue, but they're telling me that they checked that. Not sure about the bearings. or the hub. I can have that checked out. As for the alignment specs - I would assume they're using the stock Honda settings.
