Spoon mirror base, are the 2 holes same as other mirrors?
I am not sure how to phrase this question, but for those of you who have Spoon mirrors (not sure how replica ones work), you know that the actual mirror is mounted on a L metal plate, then mounted onto the base with 2 bolts.
I am wondering, if these two bolts location are the same for, let's say, Spoon new F1 mirrors, Vision Type-DC mirrors, Square Craft F1 mirrors, Signal F1 mirrors... etc.
Anyone mounted these types of mirrors onto a Spoon mirror base plate?
Thanks

Did you bolt the mirrors onto an original Spoon plate, or did the F1 mirrors come with plates?
I have the original mirrors, but driver side shell is cracked for years and I am wondering if other brands will bolt on to it.
Thanks

a lot of times i see people making their own bases. since ABS plastic is CHEAP and moldable it makes it easy to use! try that if you need to make bases. and my spoon knockoffs came mounted on the plates as one piece. if that helps?
