Default Rear-end Noise when turning...

The sound occurs when a hard turn is made... It comes from the right rear wheel... It's a metal on metal chirping sound, and it's VERY LOUD, the vibration can be felt when the sound is made.. BTW: This is on a 99 Si (if that makes a difference) have no clue what it could be, we've had the wheel off looking at EVERYTHING, and no clue as to what it could be. No visible rubbing, seems to be no excessive heat. Anyone ever had this problem??? Anyone have an idea what it could be?

Could it be wheel bearings? Try removing the tire and turning the hub with Ebrake off. But what do I know i'm a newbee

More than willing to bet, jack the car up and spin the tire around and see if you hear the noise.

If you have coilovers on your car.It may be that.I had the same problem in my 95 coupe. But from the front.U cant see it with the wheel off.But its the spring rubbing on the sleeve of the coilover.Check it.Now if u dont have coilovers then disregard the post.

wheel bearing sounds unlikely, but i will take it into consideration. Im a newbee as well, so chances are im wrong. lol. The exaust sounds VERY possible, It has cat back exhaust and that post suddenly turned a light bulb on.

as far as suspension, the car has gold line springs and 16'' wheels. Has some negative camber if that could cause anything... but like i said, i didn't see any rub marks

Not to make a useless post that someone else already mentioned....but i'd definetely consider the wheel bearing as being the culprit.

Although like someone else also said, the exhaust is on that side of the car. Lube up the hangers and make sure the pipes arent VERY close to another piece of metal just in case.

Could be a bearing...could be something stupid, yanno? Lets hope for the latter. Good luck!
