Flywheel mismatch
Need advice quick..
I ordered the PSCB01 Pro Street Clutch Kit Flywheel Combo for my ITR,
but apparantely, the flywheel only had 6 mounting holes and an indented surface.
The dealer told me that the ITR has 8 mounting holes and a raised surface..
I'm going to call Prostreet and get an exchange.
Question: Does the clutch/pressure plate need to be exchanged too ?
Does the ITR use the same clutch and pressure plate as the other Integras?

Ok.. Here's what I was thinking. In the interest of time and money, can I just do this ?
* Keep the Exedy Organic Stage 1 Clutch and Pressure plate and resurface the ITR Flywheel ?
Does anyone know if that will cause problems ?
Edit:: Just got a call from the dealer. The parts I have won't work with the ITR flywheel. I'm going to put this kit up for sale or send it back to Prostreet.

Without a doubt you need to send the flywheel back to Prostreet. It doesnt necessarily mean the the clutch is bad but the clutch is the same for all 94-01 Integras. However, I would suggest to Prostreet that you want to exchange all for the correct parts for piece of mind.

ok, lets get you squared away as you seem to be getting dicked from all directions:
1) as per your thread here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1797577
prostreet did indeed send you the wrong flywheel, but the clutch they sent you is correct...the EXEDY part# for ITR clutch application is 08800B, so you have the correct clutch
2) you are correct, the ITR flywheel has 8 bolt holes so the flywheel prostreet sent you with the 6 bolts holes is wrong
3) the dealer is also feeding you BS bc the exedy clutch you have will work with a stock flywheel or aftermarket flywheel
so, find out what part # that prostreet flywheel is so you know what application they sent you...if prostreet does not take it back then at least you know what is it you are selling
keep the clutch and get a new flywheel

#3 The dealer said that that the clutch/pp match the bolt/pins on the flywheel, but it will scrap (I can't remember exactly what they were saying but I think that the flywheel will end up scraping the clutch). shrug.
I'm just to the end of my rope with patience. I'm going to get my car back tomorrow and that's all I want. Its been gone too long because of the parts fiasco.
I'll try and find out exactly what parts I have though.
Thanks for all the good info!

Thanks again BlueR. I spoke with prostreet customer service and the Acura Dealer back and forth. Got the part numbers straightened out.
The flywheel box had a B hand written over with a D, so they realized they sent the wrong part and they are overnightting me the correct part.
The clutch kit was the correct kit.
Dealer was thinking since the prostreet flywheel had an recessed face, the clutch pack might be too thick and not release with the ITR flywheel because the ITR flywheel is raised.
I'm assuming that the flywheel I'm getting from prostreet is going to be raised too.
I hope everything goes smoothly now.
