My idle on my 93 civic floats up and down. And I need to pass emissions. What is a quick fix to this.

Someone told me to unplug the battery, then the throttle position and map sensors, plug the battery back in, turn the car on, the plug the throttle position sensor first then the map sensor and it should fix the problem.

Is this true?

 

im not sure... how bad is it?? radiator fluid maybe??

 

no, it has nothing to do with radiator fluid. it is an idle problem. i need to get it fixed tomorrow morning. so if anyone knows the quick fix, let me know.
