y7 y8?

Default y7 y8?

i know z6 is 92-95 and y8 is 96-00 but wheres y7 fit in there im tryign to buy y8 manifold but i dun wanna get the wrong 1. help? thx. τΏτ

wow..i couldnt really understand what you were saying, but the y7 is from the HX trim.

No.

The y5 is from the HX trim. The y7 is cx/dx/lx.

d16z6 manifold would be ideal, since all the sensors would match up.

The Y8 manifold only has advantages in the sub 5000 range. The Z6 mani will outflow the Y8 in the top end where it counts.

Y8 is just typical HT hype.

Not sure if I understood the question properly but if you're just trying to tell them apart, on a Y7 manifold the throttle body points up, on a Y8 it points to the side, and yes Y8 is 96-00 EX. I'm not familiar with the D16Z6 manifold, but switching from the Y7 manifold with factory airbox to a Y8 with a short ram seemed like a worthwhile and cost effective mod on my 98 CX.

if there is such a diffrence, it wouldent be worth the hassle....the Z6 manifold is awesome, and its geared for high-rpm breathing
