Default Stance, Function-7, Topsetup CTR/TIE bar!!!!!!!!!

Just went to Stance's main HQ's to order my coilovers. They need to be made and shipped from japan hahah. Hopefully in 1 month, possibly 2, ill get to give u my opinions of this suspension.

Looking foward to the Function-7 control arms (bling bling i dont wanna hear that i dont need them) .

And the Topsetup Tie bar is accually a prototype, most of u know who charlie from topsetup is (www.topsetup.net). Ill prolly put that on before the coilovers so that i can get a feel for it.

Hope to give you guys helpfull reviews!!!!!!!!

Why am I not surprised to find that the website has little to no useful information, the actual suspension looks exactly like the 10 billion other new companies that come up with creative names and special anodized coloring; to surface within the past few years, with no factual data backing up or supporting their coilover for any specific reason to separate them from all the other 10 billion new companies, other than its a new name, they look cool and they're competitively priced?

No one else has even touched this thread... Good luck with that new brand, what happens if you blow one out. Do you have to wait another couple of months to get it back?

Actually they are pretty high end, most 240s, evos, sti's, and so on use them, not so much hondas.

there actually sister coilovers to a very reputable Japanese company, and they are made in japan.

def not your typical ksports, megan, and d2's that are out there, where u just call up, pick colors, and get a quanity of 2000 of them for $300 a pop....... thanks for the look out tho. there are lots of grabage out there.

oh and on the support, its there, they just dont keep honda stuff in stock. the owner of stance actually deals with the drift world

pretty nice, who makes that rear tie? it looks exactly like my comptech, but slightly different. those LCA's are wicked, i have the version 1's that only have 1 sway bar endlink hole. definitely some quality parts right there, people will notice the bling as they drive behind you.

stance are some pretty serious coilovers dave at TF (touge factory) did some pretty serious R&D on his coilovers there 16way adjustable, full mono tube, and the valving on them is second to none, there compression and rebound are great. but yeah there not really pushing the honda scene because there are so many coilovers already for hondas, dave says there are so many crappy coilovers out there that he just doesnt what to deal with it. so if your gonna order these you might have to wait. there are a few hondas up here in chicago that are running stance and they love them.

yikes the ASR is only $180. I thought these would be cheaper since there was no R&D involved.

I understand how people jump the gun when assuming that STANCE is just another new coilover but they have not really been marketing towards the Honda crowd. STANCE is very popular among the 240 / drift crowd. They are valved very appropriately for the spring rates and the monotube design is a plus.

I dont think anyone with Honda really has had experience with STANCE hence the assumptions that it is just another cheap taiwanese coilover.

I might as well just throw in some personal experience info.

I went with STANCE on my miata and they are right on comparable as my buddy's miata who runs Tein RA's.

In the 240 world, many people have switched to the STANCE from HKS Hipermax's, Silk Roads, Tein HE's, JIC's, and the like. And from user reviews, they seem to prefer the STANCE over those other "high level" coilovers so STANCE must be doing something right.

I agree that the site does not have much useful info and is very general but if one of you guys are interested, just call and ask for Dave, he is more than well informed to give you the information you are curious about.

I'm a firm believer in knowing or experience what i talk about before knocking it or making assumptions.

Figured I might as well add some entertainment to the thread even though its not Honda related. I myself am curious to how STANCE feels and performs on Hondas.

Video of two competitive grassroot drivers on STANCE

I'm not knocking, and I know what I'm talking about. I know Charlie too. We've met at RCrew when he came over to do the Touge.

BTW, at the first one when he came, who won the Touge? Wasn't it Comptech NSX? And you think Comptech doesn't know what they are doing?

All the racing pedigree from winning IMSA, SCCA pro, even Indy 500 when Juan Pablo Montoya drove it is powered by Comptech built engine.

Comptech did the R&D and came up with a good product. The rest just copy it. I don't blame anyone who copy it. I'm just saying, why pay more for a copy stuff when you can buy the real one for less??

LMAO ... yeah Andre doesn't know **** about suspension. He only runs JDM stuff or $600 crap ... Andre didn't win any Hot Setup Super Toogay JDM Racer Spirit Contest. He only won that little known Honda Challenge National Championship race.
