just goto a junkyard and get a grommet from a older ford probe's door, fits fine, works fine, but is not HOP.. but who gives a rat's ***.
Rumor has it that this works for a 5g hatch too... can anyone confirm this?

they are parts for Honda not acura, correct me if I am wrong. that is probably why you had a problen getting them from your acura dealer. Just what I know, or at least think I know....

whats mike ks handle?
-Dave, who doesn't know why people don't look in the member list for a name when someone says it.
I know, but honda and acura have different part numbers.
Everytime I tried getting something with a honda part I was told that they could not get it, I've had to go to the Honda dealer. That is all I meant. Acura will not, at least in my experience, order honda specific parts to the acura dealer, they will try to find parts that are the same for acura with the acura part number but have not ordered Honda parts with honda part numbers. I thought I read in a post a while back that the parts come of a Civic hatch?

are those the only 3 parts you need?
-Dave, who doesn't understand why people waste money when they could do this for $1 from a junkyard, and get plugs for the ghey ITR spoiler at the same time.
just use a grommet for the hole. One of the engine bay grommets fits perfectly in the hole. Honda is a cheep *** company that tries to save money all the time so they use the same size holes, grommets, bolts, etc... for various uses on the car. The grommet in the engine bay firewall next to the large oval hole for the A/C is the grommet to use for the rear window. Also it fits perfectly without any use of glue, etc... However I'm sure if you tried enough that you could pull it out.
