Since more ITR owners have Recaros, I figure I might post here.
I just bought a used pair of Recaro SRDs from an HT member.
The condition of the seats looks great, however, I later found out that one of the recliner **** is not working. I have it on the passenger side so it won't be as big of a deal but I would still like to get it fixed. It just rotates but it doesn't recline the seat.
Has anyone fixed one of these before? The plastic cover...does it pop out?

Any place where I can get this fixed? If so, how much. Thanks.

 

The plastic cover pops out and you should be able to just pull out the ****.

 

I was afraid of just pulling it that I might do more damage. So I just yank it out with my hands?

AH, dont "yank"..gently pull until **** has been extradited.

Rguy, who thinks Recaros or any other nice seat should never be "yanked" upon.
