EGR? What does EGR stand for?
What does EGR stand for? A tech said that either catalytic converter or EGR failure could result in HIGH NOx readings during emission testing... could someone help me out? Thanks.

Damn.......hoping you didn't have an EGR and that would solve problem.....
HRM, you could take it apart and clean it, it is attached to the Intake Manifold.....get a shop manual and it will tell you how to do it.
Also, if you do do that, clean the trottle body and manifold....that makes a huge difference.
