AEM Short Ram on a d16y7? Is it worth it?

^^^ what he said. you're better off buying a pipe off ebay and a K&N drop in filter for cheaper. but IMO, save your money for a future swap of some sort.

if you dont plan on doing anything else to your car...might as well spend money on an aem intake...carb legal dont have to worry about anything...but if you do plan on actually doing some work to make it a quick car, i would just do an ebay pipe with K&N filter
no matter what you do with your car there is no benefit from this upgrade. you will waste 100$ on nothing. if you keep it d series and never modify a thing, still don't get this intake. refere to my first post if you have any questions...

Instead of getting any kind of pipe, if this is your daily driver and you don't plan on doing anything else why not just purchase a K&N drop in filter for your stock airbox and be done with it. With that it will leave you with $50 to do a tune up to the car with. Just my .02

I would just get an ebay one, 30 dollars there, piping is piping, with a short ram on a Y7 (and AEM) you're totally paying for the name & not the power (or lack there of).
