Will these wheels work on my 95 accord?
I've got a 95 Accord LX with 14" and hubcaps. I'm hoping to get rims and tires next summer, but wanted to get rid of the hubcaps. I went to the junyard and found a set of 14" 4x114mm (I think) rims off of a 93 Infiniti G20. Seems to line up, but I noticed that my steel rims are 14x5 and the Infiniti's are 14x6. My question is will these rims work? What's the risk with the difference in the depth?
Thanks in advance,
Thanks in advance,
the depth or how much it "stick out"/"sunk in" is called OFFSET/ET
you need to know both of the offset in order to answer your question.
you usually will run into clearance/suspension problem with fwd with rwd rims(vise versa)

I'm a newbee to this. Is there a way to measure this or is it printed inside the rim? I looked on the ones I want to install and there's a few numbers, but I can't tell what they mean. One says 45, another says 14x6 JJ.
Does anyone know what the offset is on a standard 14" steel rim for a 95 Honda Accord?
Thanks,

Thanks,
The 14x6 is the diameter by width. The 45 is the offset.
Here is a diagram from TireRack, it'll show you how offset is figured.
Also, here is the link to the offset page on TireRack the describes offset.

OK. Took the wheels to the shop today. They said the Infiniti wheels were very close to the stock Honda wheels I had. They mounted them and no rub and they look fine. Much better than hubcaps. Is there anything I should watch for going forward?
Thanks for everyone's help!!

yeah, that didn't make sence.
To the OP... as long as they don't rub anywhere you are fine. Since you have them mounted on the car, would you mind posting a picture just to see how it looks?
