Hey everyone, Im thinking about tinting my windows on the NFR S2K, What percentage is reccomended, and when "they" tint the windows do they tint the rear plastic window?

 

the plastic can be tinted, but it flexes when u put the top down, so it might ruin after a while.

 

well here in columbus theres a company that warrentys the tint for life- so hopefully they cover that

 

I personally don't like tint. The S looks so much cleaner without it imo....and any car for that matter...but hey it's your car, do what ever you like to it.

Well im not gonna lie, the s2k's that i have seen with tinted windows looks sweet- because of the black top- and my s2k has gunmetal wheels and i think the contrast would look really good!

 

Just do what's legal in your state

 

Is it hard to see out of tinted windows at night, if the top is down but the windows are up?

 

Mine are 15% and it's perfect for me being in Florida. It also looks better imo because of the black top like someone else stated. The rear you can use insta-cling tint on but you'll have to change it out about every year. You can install it yourself too and it costs about $20 after shipping.

 

Whats the law for Ohio?
I know here its pretty strict about tint.
