Dent on bottom of quarter panel: cut-and-weld or hammer it out.
I got this enormous dent on the driver's side quarter panel.

Do you guys think this is a Cut-and-Weld job? or
a hammer it out and body filler job?

It can be done either way depending if you want it done cheap or not, I would section it from the molding down
Section In is more expensive right? How much should I be looking at?
What kind of saw do I need to cut up a peice from the junkyard?

call dent wizard that **** will come out with pdr NO PROBLEM!,
im rebuilding my crx and i just replaced that piece tonight, if your good at welding, section that bitch, if you have a good job, hire out, and if your an idiot mudd it and flatblack your whole car. also, did it crease the doorjam anywhere? and also take out rear interior panel and see if it hit the brace that connects your wheelwell to your b-pillar, make sure there is no structural damage(although it doesnt look that deep)

yeah...a lot of people told me it is not neccesary to cut-and-weld the piece. I got a body shop to quote $800CAD..about ($700US).
sounds like a good deal?

cheaper to cut it out and replace it, it will probably end up rusting later on if you just bend it out, in the long run replacnig it will be a better deal.
i do body work all day long and that looks like an ez fix with a stud gun and a dent puller.
and it definatly wont probably end up rusting out later if you repair it properly
a $700 estimate sounds about right to me.
how did your door not get damage?

A good body tech could work it out without replacing it, just make sure you wax the back of it so no oxygen can get to bare metal and make it rust again.

on the interior or exterior part of the dent?
i was thinking a dent like this might increase rust in the rear fender if it caused a pocket or somthing for condensation to creep into the inner fender.

my door only has a little scratch. I am not so worried about rust develop on the inside of the panel because, being in Canada, I send my car to get sprayed with this rust proofing thing every year.
They spray this oil thing even inside the fenders. See that black rubber plug that's on the dent? That's where they drilled the hole to spray rust proof.
Too many people tell me it's no neccesarily to cut-and-weld cuz it's not a really messy damage.
