Default dent on rear quarter .. fixable?

sup guys, i think soeone hit my car while i was parked ..
theres a small dent on the rear quarter
i was wondering if it would be a cheap fix, or if i woul dhave to replace the whole panel, etc
i'm a body newb, so any info and thoughts would be appreciated

try popping it out, take all the rear driver side interior panels off and lightly try to smooth it out with your hand..

damn...that sucks. i have a dent like that on the other side of my car. not as big as that though. hit was alil hard, it took off the paint down the metal. so i just put touch up paint over mines.

on a serious note. the dent looks really sharp...i suggest changing out the whole quarter panel.

That would be the first thing i'd do, but if you succeed it will still have ripples apply peanut butter afterwards for best results

Try pounding it out from inside the car like what those guys said.
Or let a body shop get the dent out for you from the inside.
Or call up paintless dent removal.

I doubt you will need to cut and weld in a new piece.
It sucks that it is so close to the rear quarter glass.
If you go with cut and weld, you probably need to take the glass out as well.
But, like i said, I don't think it will come to that.

EDIT: that's the rear, right?

ya u should be able to get most of it popped out from the inside...just be careful when u do it. it's prolly not gena be a smooth as it was but it'll def. be less noticable

of course, popped out, use aircraft remover on the area, apply bondo, sand to give shape and smooth surface. Apply primer, wet sand all the quarter panel, apply paint to the quarter panel, then apply clear coat...... Wet sand between coats and dont use can spray. Make shure you match the paint before aplying it...
