My B18C6 is #$#%#&. CTR pistons after 600 miles.
Hi, guys.
I´ve been today on my mechanic and the engine is really damaged.
Two CTR pistons are completly damaged and one cilinder wall too.
The short block is trash, also the valves of the 3rd and 4th clinder were damaged by the detonation.
Let me remind you all, that i installed one week ago the CTR pistons and 600 miles on it, the detonation of 2 minutes drive after 5k rpm, broke the engine.
I´ll post pics later.

You had to tune the car first before you got on it. You cannot just increase your compression without adding more fuel and if necessary retarding your timing.

your the one who decided a topspeed run would be good on a rather "green" motor.....he's not to blame for your stupidity.

Pinota, no hard feelings man.. Guys are just bustin ***** a little.. Hopefully you can get her back and running. Please, break in your motor nice and easy and tune her on the dyno..

Exactly right. I really appreciate all the people on here who are knowledgeable enough to provide help/advice on questions, issues and problems. I also think there are a fair number of people on here who are very knowledgeable, but need to chill....just because someone may or may/not be quite as up to speed as you are on cars in general, really doesnt require you to be a smart *** everytime a question/problem comes up that YOU perceive to be trivial/dumb.

i just find it really silly to try to place the blame on everything and everyone when
