new oil pressure sending unit source?

hello everyone,

i where thinking about drilling this bolt and tig weld to it a fitting for a oil pressure sending unit.

what do you guys think? is it a good source?

I think Z10 already makes a 1/8 NPT fitting for that port if you don't want to weld it yourself, and yes it would be unfiltered.
