Accord Axel help!
oh jesus. remove 36mm axle nut, remove 17mm castle nut on lower ball joint, remove strut fork, pry axle out from tranny, do not pull. Reverse to put it back together.

Ok ok, no asking for a nickname. One must be assigned. For example, Misa is always preaching about his motormounts, thus "Mr. Motormount." He can also be called "Intake Bend-Eliminator" and "Exhaust Yeilder." Brian goes through axles like hot cakes. I think he can install them blind folded, thus "Axles Master."
So I guess I'm "Bullshitter" then huh?

Some more minor details:
There's a 17 mm nut and bolt to be removed for the shock fork.
You have to unstake the axle nut first, and 9 times out of 10 it's going to be really, really, really, really, really, really, really hard to break loose.

If they don't break. I broke a 24" long 1/2" breaker bar on an axle nut last weekend (with the help of a pipe to extend the length). Then just for the hell of it I broke my 1/2" ratchet as well. Thank goodness for the Craftsmang lifetime warranty.
PS the breaker bar wasn't Craftsman, but when I replaced the ratchet I got a Craftsman breaker bar, and with Misa's help got that ***** off.

OK.. OK.. my axels are messed up now... now i need new ones.. do you guys think a H22 axel well fit my stock f22 tranny?? cause im planning to swap to a h22 sooner or later anyways.. so might as well do it now... or can you guys give me other options on axles..
Just get Accord axles.
I'm 99% sure the 4 and 5G Accords and 4G Preludes use the exact same axles, except the driver's side Prelude axle has a female end on the intermediate shaft side. Pretty much every Accord hybrid uses Accord axles.
To reiterate, just get Accord axles.

yeah I think your lug nuts were torqued more than the axle nut. Seriously I wonder how much torque your weight jumping on the end of a 1 foot torque wrench will put out. Probably alot more than 150lbs/ft.
