Default Aftermarket Sunroof

So i got an 03 Dx, and I was thinking of adding a sunroof. Has anyone done this? Is it hard to do? I know there are kits out there.

Well, you could search the junkyards for an EX, because they have a sunroof in them.

ive never heard of a good story from an aftermarket sunroof. A lot of the time they leak, and IMO nothing is worth that.

If you want to do this mod right your going to need the whole roof of a civic with a sunroof. Your going to have to replace the whole roof of you car at the 2 black seem that run on either side of the top of your car. As you may or may not know this is where your roof is spot welded and seem sealed together...which means your going to have to remove your front and rear windshields to take this piece off. It'll cost some more money but if you have never done something like this before I would have a body shop you trust do the work.

with a aftermarket room, you looking at cutting a whole into your chassis which isnt made for it. your top frame of your car will bend inward way quicker than it would in a EX model. just FYI. autocrossers with EX's are already looking seeing them in their sunroofs.

if you do a sunroof, try and take as many parts from the EX as possible, roof liner, sunroof assembly, motor, etc.
