The end of a nice long run!
Just wanted everyone to know that I have had my ITR since July of 98'.
Got it at Marin Acura in Cali and have loved every single second in the 8 years and 107,000 miles.
With my new favorite thing (my daughter Scarlett) needing more space I now must sell #669.
To all those that still do have their ITR I say, "Have fun for me".
If you know of anyone interested in buy her (Columbus OHIO) give them this link:

Oh yeah, you'll like this:
The wife gets the new Honda Pilot and I get her piece of crap 97 Accord (it really is a piece of crap).
Gotta love being the DAD!

Congrats on your new arrival. My wife and I are expecting twin girls anytime now. I also just sold my 98 ITR after owning it for many years.

Doesn't have to be......we're due March 23, 2007, wife currently has a loaded EX-L 2003 Pilot as HER daily, we bought the R BRAND new in 2001, i've ALSO got a track car B16 EH2 and a daily 1990 DA9 Integ, ALL currently. R's don't have to go by the wayside....but I guess everyone's situation is different. Doug (BabyNSX) will also attest to being very much able to hang on to his R and continue to invest in it.....LOL Babies don't have to get in the way of our fun/hobbies....concessions and compremises can be made.....like I said though...everyone's situation is different.
Congratulations.

i dont get the point of selling the r if you owe nothing on it. i mean i can see if needing a bigger car but the accord is the same size. congrats on the kid though. they are fun. oh and good choice on the pilot. i have an 06 ex-L and love the **** outa it. what color did you get. i have the sage brush pearl.
I myself had a new baby boy 6 and a half months ago! And I agree, IT IS the best feeling in the world! They are really fun!!
Luckily I got the chance to keep my R (which is not my daily driver anyway)! I gave my wife the Lexus RX330, sold her Mini Cooper and got my new family car, a 2-door 2006 VW GTI!
Congrats on the new baby born!

Yeah it would be a perfect world if I could keep my R and get a TSX, but I guess it is not.
Oh wait yes it is because my little girl is just amazing.
It all comes down to space (2 car garage), money-using the ITR money to pay for Pilot, and time.
Teaching, baseball lessons, and family just don't allow for enough time to do what I want with the car.
Figure it is time to let someone who can really use the ITR for what it is meant to do.
Hopefully whoever gets it will take her to all the meets!

Just curious...but does anyone in here have a babyseat in their R? i know it would be a pain with a 2dr to get the baby in and out of the car, but it would also be kinda neat to see that, different for sure!

I don't have any pictures but I've had Rachel in the R countless times. Because I have no back seats she goes right in the front (forward facing seat).
She gets a real kick out of it when I make a trip into VTEC.

let me look through my pictures. but my daughter rides in my turbo R quite a bit when its running. i usually pick her up from school in it when its not raining. and i even leave the car seat in it when i go to the track.
edit: nope couldnt find any pictures of it in there.

Good idea!!! DB8>crappy Accord

I tried to convince the wife that the car seat fits perfectly in the R, but lets face it:
if you are over 5'2" you just don't really fit in the front seat with a car seat in the back.
The Accord would probably only go for about 3 or 4,000.
At this point in time a very small car payment feels better than a not so small one.
We do all love our ITR's, but my daughter is so damn cute (and so is my wife) that I would sell anything for them!
