passenger side axle not sitting flush

i'm install a set of dss stg3 and the passenger side will not go all the way in its is sitting about 1/2 inch from the axle seal help needed

Whatever you do... DONT use a hammer on it even if you have a rag over it. I put my axles in 2 days ago and they are slinging grease. I found the hole and im pretty sure its where I hit it with the hammer.
