we need a pre-mod and post-mod synopsis of what happened

You have the following choices:
1) Run an 02 Simulator, I believe Black R sells them.
2) Put a spark plug defouler on your 02 sensor. However this mod is a hit and miss, results are not gauranteed.
3) Run a JDM ITR ECU.
4) Run a Chipped P28 with an OBD2b to OBD1 wire harness with an ITR map on the chip. This present you an oppurtunity to tune your car and extract more power.
5) Run a standalone ECU such as AEM. This present you an oppurtunity to tune your car and extract more power.
6) Buy a new Catalytic Convertor
7) Sell me your ITR for like $100.
BTW, research this stuff before you decide to gut your cat.
