Default RHD Question

Just was curious about Right hand drive. I noticed most people use it in their integras so I figure it is the most appropriate place to ask.

1. You use your left hand to shift right?

2. Is the gear pattern like 1-3-5 or 5-3-1
2-4-R R-4-2

Thanks sorry for the awkward question. Just curious.

This has got to be the dumbest post ever.....of course you use your left hand to shift.....what did you think you were going to do? Put your right arm across your left arm to shift?? BahHAHAHAH.....im sorry but did you even think about that???

And the shift pattern looks THE EXACT SAME as any other car.....OMG the noobs please make it stop

My god man.....I already told you dude.....imagine you are sitting in a USDM car.....now sit in the passenger seat and put the steering wheel there.....thats what it is like....nothing is changed except the steering wheel and the dash is mirrored.

Seeing as though you might not get that either.....first will be further away from you when sitting in a RHD car. 5th will be closest to you.....now please end this thread before I break my laptop.

The gears are the same as the LHD. You're only sitting on the other side.
RHD: You're further from 1st gear...
LHD: You're closer... it's the same gear shifting!

Probably not as much anyway.. but the rest of Yrop or whatever that strange foreign land is called ( ) has LHD cars. so you're more exposed to them than North Americans are to RHD.

I think people who have RHD cars in North America are stupid. I don't get it, try making
a left turn. I think that they are the only ones that think that it is cool. Just MO. I don't see too many people wanting LHD where RHD is the norm.

I think it's cool. I have to admit that RHD is in now b/c JDM has become the big fad. It's definitely different. What better way to be JDM than having a RHD, right? It's all a matter of preference. The reason you don't LHD conversions is b/c for one, most countries are LHD, and two, there isn't much of a demand for USDM Hondas. Just my .02

i make left turns every day in my RHD ITR, and no, I don't consider myself stupid for owning a RHD ITR, or the R32 GTR, or S13 Silvia K's, or BB4 Prelude Si VTEC, or R33 GTR, or EK3 Civic that I have previously owned.

They don't make a 4-door ITR here in the US otherwise I'd own one. Instead, I bought one from Japan.

That was a pretty lame statement Left turns can be difficult...however the car is more of a collectors item more than anything and I don't drive the car any longer. Opinions are opinions but, an insult is different.

You didn't have to make an *** out of yourself, the original poster did just fine on his own. You've obviously never driven a RHD.
