gas upgrade

i currently put 87 regular gas in my 92 civic, if i uprgrade to 89 octane special will it be bad for my car and if i use sepcial once and go back to regular gas is that bad as well to degrade????

Nope it's not bad. Using higher octane gas will burn cleaner. Your car was tuned for regular gas, even if you went up and down, nothing will happen.

Some people recommend using 92 octane once every few refills.
