Default What axels/hubs/knuckles to use for SI motor in HF?

I think the stock ones on the HF are smaller and will not fit the SI axels am I correct? Should I change over to the SI set up? If so I have hubs and knuckles from a DA will this work or only with B-Series?

u need si or dx hubs and axels if ur using the si tranny. and if u use that tranny u can use the teg ones but would recomend using ef spindles.

That is correct, the Si axles will not fit the HF hubs. However, the HF axles will fit the Si transmission, so if you have HF axles then you can reuse them.

you can use DA brakes if you want on a Si tranny, you can use DA brakes with HF tranny if you wanted but you just have to change the axles.

Im getting DA brakes this weekend putting them with si axles and a hf tranny. just doing this for now while im building my d15b

also you gotta either get a prelude or EX sedan 15/16 MC or DA 15/16 MC and a 260v brake booster

Now on a matter of safety, if you are increasing power exponentially such as the HF chassis, increase the brakes as well. Also, axles can take as much power as you throw at them until one of two things happen - fatigue in the metal just causes the axle to break, or you start trying to be a stunner and doing burnouts and the such.

And those EX setups are Rare, took me three years to find a set in good condition.
