Default a/f gauges and wideband o2's

anyways, do you need a wideband o2 sensor for a normal a/f gauge such as the autometer uultralight or the cheapo silver one? i thought you did but recently somone only said you need a wideband for the more accurate ones..such as the ones that display the exact numbers.

many wideband o2 kits come with their own display gauges or box. Some only have an option for a gauge because you only really need a wideband when tuning unless you have a motor making some serious power and you want to keep an eye on it.
