Headlight Bulb Brand Recommendation
Holy crap, I feel bad for doing this.
I've looked around the pics section and tried many brands myself. I'm looking for some input on nice, bright, non-ricey bulbs for my stock headlights. Saw some nice ones in the pic section but mods weren't listed, etc. I have been running Silverstars for my lows and regular GE's for my highs, but the Silverstars like to burn out fast (at least this most recent pair) and the GE's seem dim. And NO I don't want to do the 9006 conversion or get some projectors y0.
Any input would be awesome, here's a
for you in advance.

They usually burn out only cause you touched them or got something on them like water or sumthing. It makes it heat up quicker and blow faste. I've had mine for almost a year now with no probs.

I would also do this. http://crf50.no-ip.com/fourthgenhatch/9005.html I have done this on EVERY 88-91 Civic/CRX I have run across this is the biggest improvement you could do.

A must for all CRX's. BTW I have Silverstars and as long as you dont handle them too much while putting them in and getting your hand oils on them your fine and they last quite a while.
i've had my silverstars for 1-1/2 years with lots of night driving. and my car wasnt lowered properly by the previous owner so it bounces and hits hard and they are still working fine. i saw some toshiba hir bulbs that im gonna try when my bulbs go out.

Thanks for all the feedback, I kinda figured that I got crap on the new bulbs. I'd love to do the 9005 conversion, but my dremel skills are completely sub-par
. Guess I'll go back to the silverstars, thinking about the HIRs, gonna search around a bit more for some pics of those.
