Car: 94 Del Sol Vtec (b16a3 engine, stock tranny)
Hey guys, I just pulled out my transmission because it wasnt shifting when the car was on. I found out the pressure plate has about 4 teeth that are bent. Is there any way to fix it??? Should I buy a new One??
Also, since the the tranny is out of the car, I would like to replace the 3rd gear synchro because it grinds. What else do I need to replace along with it??

how many miles do you have on your clutch/tranny? if your 3rd gear is grinding..your 2nd,4th ,5th will start some time soon...i'd say get a new tranny and brand new clutch bro...trust me you dont want to be taking off the tranny from time to time...just did my tranny swap on my y8...it was a pain, even had a air gun and 2 extra people to help me out. doing a d tranny is way different from a b-series tranny haha...but its just my opinion good luck bro

 

can't get the teeth to realign, get new parts. If the tranny is going, get a new one...cheaper than getting it fixed. I do know that tranny is hard to go by, so weigh out buying a new one with having yours fixed.
