Default Do I have to hone for CTR pistons in my B16?

If I get CTR pistons for my stock B16 block can I just swap them in or will I have to get the block honed?

Milan

P.S. Is there a better place to order them from than inlinefour?

hmotorsonline.com has them too. As far as Honing. Its up to you. You can do it the "right" way and hone the the cylinder walls so you get a nice seal around those rings, or you can just drop the pistons in and hope that god bestows a blessing upon you that they will seal. Not saying that they won't seal, just saying that its a waste of time to do all that work just to lose your power around the rings.

Always Hone.

I wonder how many people skipped the honing process because of the Omniman B16 200whp video. From what I gathered, they skipped the honing process and didn't pull the main bearings either. They sure had a nice runner afterwards tho. I know they were pressed for time, but maybe a mention of these important rebuild items would have been appropriate. I enjoy the video btw.
