hello people im new here but not a noob when it comes to turbo charging,,and im planing to boost with 13psi..to reach 300hp,,is that possible with stock internals.? are they strong enought for that .? imean what i have is Des,lol :
f20b2(it non vtec same as F20b1 but without V-tec) its a middle east spec car (gulf spec) i dont know if you guys had the f20b2 in da USA and i lost the spec cataloge for ma car so i dont know how much is the stock comression ratio if you guys have any idea of it pleas let me know so i can know how much boost i can run
as for the dawnpipe they are da same as f22 as far as i know,,and yes TUrbo-kit.com said that the turbo kit they well fit the f20b2 i have (to make things familair for you guys there)
found a performace garage here in uae,,thaaank god (for turbo piping and fuel system crap)

were this guy lives in Trinidad were it is kinda harsh to live there (thats why he got da lowest engine options like ma self and since i live in da middle east then h22 is only available in da prelude sucks but true,, but in uae were they allow all kind of USDM JDM AND euro spec cars modified and non-modified to be imported (multi cars spec market,,LOL in the used car market) they even have ACCORD EURO..totaly deffrent in da way it look ex : fifth genartion we know looks deffrent in fifth generation ACCOrd euro,,lol sweet alot of option pluse da gulf market (middle east market)..lol ama call it MEDM..lol hahahahaha..well

Now i'm not a turbo person but I'm going to say on stock internals 13psi will work for about 10 minutes then blow your engine to smitherines. I would imagine anything past 10 psi will require some strengthening

lets see we do races events in the winter and thats becasue of the unbleivale hot weather..same thing with UAE pluse 60% to 100 percent humidty in summer,,yeep we have a killer weather and only japanes cars survive there (super quility) for atleast 5 years then it depend on the quality of the maintance,american cars are good but needs abit more care,,less face it hondah cars are world know for there durable,,saw one with 400,000 on the milage meter..and still runing strong,,so no qustion about it,,wich made think about boosting it instead of any other brands

it's not psi which will blow the internals, it is the horsepower created. that said, the HP at 13 psi should be enough to toast some pistons pretty quickly, unless timing is so retarded that you're hardly making power.

f22parts.com sucks there very expensive. go to cb7tuner.com read in the perfomnace section and got to forced induction, and read until ur eyes hurt. thats where i got all my info on my f22a6. the f20b can be boosted but 13psi is kind of high.youll fry ringlands but maybe with 8psi is fine and a good tune(chipped ecu)with either hondata or uberdata to tune. u wont get 300 but maybe 230 or more. most junkyard bulds consist of either a dsm turbo which is already internally westgated at 8psi. (like 14b). im boosting my f22a6 with 14b turbo, dsm manifold, 450cc injectors,fmic,and its auto and it wont last a long time but it last until i save for 5spd. looking for 200-220 on a good tune. just some info

thanks alot notoriousB and turbo cd7,,that does help alot..yeah i was woundering if i can do an 8pis or 7 if possible ..that way im in the safe side,,but if the auto wount last that long then a 5 speed manaul is recomneded with some performace clutches,,may add a lightwhight flywheel as well to enhance shifting ..that way reducing the load on the tranny (correct me if im wrong).....

i went today to "SPORTS" (the performance shop im dealing with) and they said that my engine cant go above 5psi to make around 200 hp with the stock internal and chip modings and since im auto and due to engine condtion UNless a complet overhal with the proper internals are made with a 5speed tranny salveged from junkyard then they can consider doing a 350hp setup and to do the 350hp setup its gona cost somthging like 4500 dollars if not more abit to do it right and yes as you said they are gona use a better fuel pump and custome made fuel rails but the the proper pistones are still an issue here i cant forged pistones for the jop....

good lord, back from the dead.
leave the FPR alone, just run the stock one. unless you have a RRFPR (aka FMU).
you need some kind of engine managment. hondata, crome, uberdata, AEM, e-manage, SOMETHING.
your cast pistons' life will depend on the tune. with a GOOD conservative tune 200-230 hp should last quite a while.

yeah.....first thing first...before running your new turbo set up...GET FMU...DYNO TUNE...i know rich is the bitch, but a little on a richer side is better if u want it to last for a min. Retard ur timing also. Go from there...if your injectors aint holding up, go get some DSMs or something...Just dont underspend on Fuel management...Running into a lean spots is what kills the motor
