What sized battry for 1992 4D Honda Accord?
I just inherited a 1992 Honda Accord which won't start, that is, the key sometimes has trouble turning. Also, it won't turn over because it took 7 months to get my uncles estate settled and, I believe, the battery is dead.
The car is in Wash DC and I am in New York. I am hoping I can get a friend of mine to go buy a new battery, it will start and he can drive it up to NYC for me. From there I can work with my mechanic as to what needs to be done to get it in reasonable working order for sale. My uncle was meticulous so the car should be great once the 7 moths of sitting have been addressed with an oil change and a tune up.
The problem is i am here in NY and can not see just what kind of battery I should get. I just read in Consumer Reports that there are different types and sizes, like Group 65. Group 75, Group 24/24F, Group 34/78 and Group 35. Then they go on to recommend batteries in the various Groups.
Does anyone here have a clue as to the proper Group for a 92 Honda Accord?
