anyone know why my rear defroster doesn't work. i have a 92 civic cx. i can press it and the light turns on but nothing happens. rear stays fogged and i cant see $h!t
Fuse? wiring? or need new hatchglass

First thing you should do is check for voltage on the driver's side of the rear window. If you don't have 12 volts then you need to check the fuse, relay switch and wiring. If voltage is present then you need to look at the ground side on the other side of the grid or the grid itself. Good luck!

 

Get out a multi meter and one side of the defroster should should 12v and the other 0, and something like 6v in the middle. if you don't have that, do what the guy above me said
