Default removing my ac help!!!!!

ok im going to remove my working ac for the winter until summer ill install it back on anyway. i just want to remove my ac and keep my heater cuz man its like 25 degrees out here and i need a heater in winter. so i want to remove my ac while having a working heater how do i do this.

You want to put it back on later? Why? Just leave it on.

It's not a hard thing to do anyway, just remove all AC components! Unbolt everything and take it out. Do you need a writeup? Anything holding the AC in needs unbolting.

ok here is the problem the winter out here lasts close to six months almost. and also im doing a 14b set-up on my car and i need to remove the ac. plus another thing my heater aint blowing hot air nothing but cold air. so i just need to remove my ac for space and because its pointless right now until summer.

So are you going to remove your turbo in summer?

i just need to keep my heater working for the winter and then when summer hits ill have enough for a ac friendly log mani then i can put ac back on but for now since im on a budget i have to settle for a 14b set-up. anybody no how to check to see how to fix the heater

no im not well summer over here in lake tahoe only gets up to 83 i think.but where the track is and most of the meets are in reno and its gets ******* hot out there.so my plans are for 14b set-up with no ac and when i have money ac friendly set-up to hit the summer.

oh yeah probably going to need a eg half rad for the summer to since ill be running a big t3/t4 57 trim 63 a.r can i use ac with a eg half rad. sorry about all these questions

Drain your system of refrigerant (Have a pro do it), then you just have to undo all the lines (use flare wrenches!), unbolt the compressor / bracket and remove said components along with the drier and condenser. Then get your coolant system flushed and replace your t-stat to get your heat to work again .

also under neath the dash you'll see a little valve type deal with a cable going to it... check to see if your heat *** is turning the valve if not manually open the other way and see if the heat works.. i did this and now i have heat

Haha, I did the same thing.......the earth will own us all in the end anyway, expletive all the other countries who breathe our oxygen anyway.
