I just got a 99 si b16 and a ls tranny in a cx eg. does anyone have that combo and is it a big difference from a b16 tranny?

 

get a b16 tranny, my buddy had an ls tranny on his b16, it pulled, but it was slow as ****, he has an Si tranny now and it ripsss

 

pretty shitty combo if ur tryin to go downa straight line, combining the crappy low torque of a b16(ovesized single cam) and the long gearing of the ls isnt the best combo. if ur going boost ur better off witha gsr trans then that ls

 

I had a JDM B16 tranny (4.40 gearing) and it blew so I had to take advantage of a local with a LS tranny (4.24 gearing). Big mistake!!! Your always out of gear, and I hade a 174whp LS/VTEC with 142lbs of trq. Man, your car must be like a turtle with a cup of decafe coffee lol. Deffinetly get either a gsr or b16usdm or jdm. I have a list of trannies as far as gearing goes if you want it. Just PM me or something.
