Default are grade 5 bolts strong enough

Hi guys, I just gos a set of metric bolts from home depot and I wanna use them to mount my strut braces to the mounts. They are stamped with 8.8 on the head. From what I know, 8.8 is the equivelant to a SAE 5 rating, is that going to be strong enough to use on strut braces? Thanks

Peter
