Yeah the wheel was taken off for the night. I always take the wheel off when i'm not using it.

received a call from the cops. They found the car a couple of blocks away. Nothing was really stolen but a radio.
Thanks guys for everything.
I'm on my way now to go look at it.

They could have been scoping the car for a little while and noticed I had a quick release. It's a standard NRG. I assume it's all the same.
I'm probably buying the locking unit for the quick release now.

This **** is getting out of control, im almost wondering if i can buy one of thsoe huge orange wheel locks, that lock the whole wheel so the car can't move. put one on each wheel, expletive those ********.
I just came back from the tow shop. Other than the clip on the window and the wires from where the radio was there's no real damage or at least what I can see during the night.
I'm pretty lucky but cannot figure out how they figured out the kill switch. The alarm brain was ripped out so that pretty much explains that.
But as far as the wheel lock, i'm buying one asap.
To all that had their cars stolen. I'm real sorry.
to theives that can't afford their own ****.

you didnt hear your alarm going off at all? </TD></TR></TABLE>
You would think I would have heard it but I was dead tired after work.
I had the pager part but that broke after a month in my pocket and couldn't find a replacement from the OE manufacture.
I've already purchased new wheel locks, the NRG quick release locking unit, and a alpha lock. I'll be picking up a new alarm hopefully tomorrow or monday and having it installed. I don't expect it to be impossible to steal but it's a lot of work for someone with some random tools. If they have a flatbed then theres nothing I can do.
There was no hood pin attached to the alarm. Assumed the prox. sensor would have detected it... guess not.
