Default Axle Boot...and other problems...

I was under my car tonite, and I noticed that my inner axle boot is ripped and that the grease all came out. How bad is that? I dive a 92 EG Hatch...the VX model. I plan on getting a swap this summer....shoudl I worry about it or drive with it until my swap..?? Will that affect any on my other suspension parts?? Thanks.

If your doing a swap soon then I would say just save your money and drive on it. You should be alright. I mean if you want to do a boot repair kit it costs like $25-$30. Once you hear clicking then its time to change it.

since you are "planning" on doing a swap and you are indefinite right now you should get it fixed. it would be much easier to just get a whole new axle. you wont have to worry about the whole boot repair B.S. just pop out the old axle put in the new axle and be on your merry way.

you will be able to find'em cheap if you are lookin in the right places.......

just change it man

the most you will find for an axle would be around $60 and some places will want the core so you might get it for cheap.

i dont think that lil expense would put a dent into your swap plans......
