Default crx corner light swap

I am sure i'm not the first to think about doing this but i will ask anyway. does anyone know if it would be possible to make jdm black corners for the 94-97 accord fit on a crx. I think they would look hot on a rex with amber bulbs.

Why not do a DIY black housed CRX light? I have heavy doubts it'll be a direct swap without some type of modification to the bumper or fender

I'm pretty sure that would be the easiest thing.. And I just looked at a few pictures, and no.. they do not appear to match up at all. After all, they are 2 different cars.

YES guys i expected to have to modify but just wanted to find out if at least the dimensions of the lights where the same so i won't have to cut the fenders maybe just alter the housing brackets instead. And to MUFFIN MAN why spend the time and effort to make a DIY black housing corner light when they are already in production and cheap at that? I wanted to use the accord corners cause they have the perfect blend of a black housing but also a clear inner lens making it stand out a little more and with an amber bulb should really make a crx look way different from the other hundred out there with a mugen kit and amber/clear corners. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE "duh" AWARD GOES TO wcsh86 FOR THE STATEMENT-"after all, they are 2 different cars."

LOL, ok let's think the DEPO black housed corner lights are just clear ones with black housing around the edges SO just like the DIY for the headlights, toss em in the oven and peel it apart, mask off what you need. And paint, total cost : $5 for paint and like 2 hours of time max

You can buy amber bulbs anywhere. I did both headlights from scratch in probably 4 hours max on a weekend with probably $10 in paint. I wouldn't call that spending too much time and effort.

And how are you going to alter the housing brackets? As soon as you cut the lights you'll mess up the light output and probably the black housing that you're seeking, so you'd have to mod the fenders and bumper

So it looks like
1) the mounting bracket is different
2) the accord light is longer (modification to fender)
3) more curved around

The, "Ok, dumbass, can you not sense sarcasm?" award goes to: Sckrx.

When I read the op, i laughed. When I read your second post, I laughed again. to me, in terms of easy-ness:

4 hours spent making your own lamps > ? hours of cutting your fenders, painting your car, and buying the corners.

I just don't get it. Please help me understand.

First of all to u internet gangstas who responded to this post with stupid comments instead of genuine helpful info go f*ck yourselves. If u had a problem with the post u didn't have to reply. I asked a question to see if something could be done or not; relatively easily without either coming out with a DIY job that looks like crap or spending a wad of cash on a small visual upgrade. Excuse me for trying to do something different. I thought after all that's what the tuning scene was about in the first place; being an individual. And to the *** who said "can't u sense sarcasim" No I can't u jerk this is typing i can't read the tone of a text message you moron.Ur not in front of me and I can't hear your voice in case u didn't realize that. That's why we have a thing called smiley's and chat abbreviations to help people understand ur message's emotion! And if u understood english i said in the first sentence "YES guys i expected to have to modify but just wanted to find out if at least the dimensions of the lights where the same so i won't have to cut the fenders maybe just alter the housing brackets instead."

Can't believe I'm replying, but..

Look smartass, If you ask about 2 seperate cars, and I say "They are two different cars" You should know that I'm not just saying that for no reason. Get more than a junior high education and maybe you an read into things a bit and realize it.

I looked at 2 pictures, and realized that if you were to put them into your crx, you'd be ****** with your fenders.

I mean, come on. If you look at the pics, you'll know that they're not the same. **** man.

And about the smileys, there isn't a god damned smiley that expresses the emotion people feel about you. If there was, it'd probably be a redneck smiley face with 4 teeth standing in front of a rusted out crx, burning in hell. But you're right, this will do.
